During a trip to the south of India we were advised, out of respect for the local culture, not to photograph women. Back home in Europe my friend and me, both men, would just kindly ask before taking a picture. But of course we took the cultural surroundings as they are and worked with it. Our friend and host assured us that most men would probably be interested and happy to have their photo taken. Here’s the result of sharing a few moments with men I met somewhere along the road in only two days.
